What was the ISO on this?

Then here's where we can see the quality of the EOS 5D. My gosh, at 1600 ISO, there's no visible noise. And those people were moving, yet they still came out relatively clear. Very nice!

f1.0???!!! I didn't know there was such glass or is that an exif error?

Oops...I forgot to actually leave a comment before. This shot is exquisite! I always love the glow of sodium vapors against a blue sky. The motion of the people is an added bonus. Really excellent, but then you already know that!

I think it's an error, whether it's in the camera itself or in the way Zooomr reads the data, I don't know. But that lens is f1.4.

Yeah, that's a bug that we have fix. Sometimes I pretend though with people that I'm secretly testing out hot new Canon f/1.0 lenses.

It goes to show how hard lens development really is, since f1.4 is the most we can get nowadays. Most cameras come with f2.8 lenses. I'm still blown away by the fact that my old Minolta Hi-Matic 9 (made in the 60s) has an f1.7 lens.

If anyone was going to be a secret tester, it would be you I think and probably fetching too!

A couple of weeks ago, I was researching the EF 50mm lens, and it turns out Canon made a f/1.0L, but it's discontinued. Now they've only got the f/1.2L. Apparently the f/1.0L now sells used for even more than its retail price.
