Sounds like fun. And as a hamakko (albeit non-native) I can attest that Yokohama is an absolutely amazing place to walk and take photos. Would be a shame not to keeping on walking just a few minutes to Osanbashi Pier to get guaranteed amazing shots of Yokohama bay and the pier, and maybe a few beers : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osanbashi_Pier

I like Zooomr's Add Note and Add Portal functionality. I added some hyperlinks to the photo to make it easy for people to click through to the URLs.

I heard they had dismantled that dreary movie theater. Has the Showa-period like deserted back street changed?

Should be fun to walk from Kogane-cho to tourist attraction Yokohama.

Yes - I believe anyone is free to join the photowalk. The cherry blossoms were really at peak today in Tokyo. It was the best weather for peak weekend cherry blossom that I can remember. Tomorrow's forecast is cloudy, but it should be a good day for a walk.
