Very nice. I've tried taking photos in the tunnel before, but they have never worked out. I obviously need to take a tripod and SLR down there... looks like you and I have the same camera... :-)

Thanks. Yeah the tripod did the trick. It wasn't too busy though there are some people in the far distance which spoils it a bit. I had to time it just right as right as the shutter closed the next set of people came past. The previous photo (linked through the portal) was taken another time handheld using a high ISO, quality not as nice.

The EOS 350D is a great camera for most purposes if you put a decent lens on it. I've been using the EF-S 17-85mm USM for most stuff, though I'm starting to crave 'L' glass as I begin to notice distortion imperfections around the edges more ofen.

The 50mm f/1.8 has been a great (and inexpensive) addition though. I'll post some shots taken with that soon.

Lucky those people didn't get in shot, it's amazing how some people just don't make any effort not to spoil a shot.
