I swore to myself I would do photos other than ones like this, but the night was so perfectly still, the moon so perfectly placed, the sky and stars so easily visible...that I couldn't resist. So here's week 2, where I live.

Yeah, it's a dog shot. But you've gotta love the expression. :) She was about to take a bite out of the lights which I haven't taken down yet because they light up our cave-like living room.

This one is best viewed large -- it was an experiment in catching the motion of rain through a flashlight. I still haven't gotten it exactly right, but this one is definitely closer.
