I seem to recall seeing this mentioned in my Zipline. So something tells me it's not just you.

I don't think the counter on the older photos is updating the views. At least I can't get it to increase.

i'm afraid this isn't the only thing they've turned off. i've noticed that when i sort my photos by awesomeness, i find periodic changes but no new comments, favs, or views show up.

i'm led to believe that some of my images are getting some action but i can't tell what it is. oh well, i guess i have to spend this week without the ego-stroke.

but it's still annoying...not with absence of the view count but the lack of communication around hear. i realize this is minor or non-issue as these aren't critical features. but, seriously, would have really been that hard to just give us users a heads-up? "hey, we're turning this off. sorry for the inconvenience." would have sufficed.

the way i see it, the central feature in the structure of this whole site is social interaction. you'd think it's creator would be a little more into...well, social interaction.

Facilitating it (social interaction) doesn't as mean you do it. Sometimes it just means you like to see it.

Not to say Kristopher is anti-social, he's just social at work and for work a lot of the time. It's less often about his pictures and social life than it is for the rest of us users.

I'm glad to see he does his best as much as he does, however.
