I doubt there will be a significant exodus right now... I already heard all the complaints from the same people, when yahoo took over. Nothing really happened... But you're right, maybe in a year or so, when every flickerer needs passport to sign in...

Flickr isn't going to go away. Microsoft and Yahoo!'s respective properties will stay around for a long time. Each of them will continue to be offered as their own respective services.

One e-mail system *MIGHT* be closed, but I somehow doubt it.

Microsoft doesn't gobble companies up and shut them down. So if there is a reason for a Flickr exodus, it's because Microsoft will make a poor poor business decision with it further down the road, well after the takeover.

Unfortunately, Zooomr is in not position to take on a large influx of new users at the moment. Besides, it looks like Yahoo has rejected the MS takeover bid anyway.
